In
this Christmas of the Lord, let us fix the eyes of our soul on the humble
manger where the Redeemer of the world wanted to be born. What do we see in
him? Yes, to the one that the Angels announced to the little shepherds of
Bethlehem, "a child reclining in a manger." I do not find a greater and
ineffable object of meditation and consideration than the eternal Word made Man
reclining in that rude manger, the humble majesty, the weak power, the reduced
immensity, the mute wisdom and the eternity born in time.
Are the mysteries listed above enough or are you missing more? I sincerely
believe that these mysteries meditated with true piety serve us to feed,
nurture and see our spirituality grow. I do not want to break down one by one I
hope that this Christmas my kind readers are those who, with the help of the
Holy Spirit, meditate in the depths of their souls these words enclosed in that
red color and highlighted in yellow.
