Triumph of the Church in souls, dominion of the Gospel

Then there will be peace, the reconciliation of God with men; Jesus Christ will be served, worshiped and glorified. Charity will flourish everywhere. The new kings will be the right arm of the Holy Church, which will be strong, humble, pious, poor, zealous and imitator of the virtues of Jesus Christ. The Gospel will be preached everywhere and men will make great progress in faith, because there will be unity among the workers of Jesus Christ, and men will live in the fear of God. (...)

Misfortunes in the times of Antichrist and perseverance of the faithful

“This peace among men will not be long; Twenty-five years of abundant harvests will make them forget that the sins of men are the cause of all the punishments that occur on Earth.

“The Earth will be punished with all kinds of plagues (in addition to the plague and famine that will be general); There will be wars, until the last one will be waged by the ten kings of the antichrist, who will all have the same plan, and will be the only ones who will govern the world. Before that happens, there will be a kind of false peace in the world; All you will think about is having fun; the wicked will indulge in all kinds of sins; but the children of the Holy Church, the children of Faith, my true imitators, will believe in the love of God and in the virtues that are dearest to me. Blessed are the humble souls guided by the Holy Spirit, I will fight with them until they reach the fullness of age.

Nature cries out for vengeance against men, and trembles with fear as it waits for what must happen on the Earth flooded with crimes. Earth tremble, and you who profess to serve Jesus Christ and who inwardly worship yourselves, tremble! For God is going to hand you over to his enemies,  because the holy places are in corruption. Many convents are no longer the house of God, but rather the pastures of Asmodeus.  During this time the antichrist will be born... he will do wonders and will feed on nothing but impurities. ...The seasons will change... The stars will lose their regular movements. The moon will only reflect a weak reddish light. Water and fire will cause convulsive movements and horrible earthquakes on the globe.

ROME will lose Faith and will become the headquarters of the antichrist.  The demons of the air, with the antichrist, will perform great wonders on Earth and in the air, and men will become more and more perverted. God will take care of his faithful servants and men of good will. The Gospel will be preached everywhere. All people and all nations will know the truth.

The apostles of the last times

Our Lady then gave a description of the action of demons and the Antichrist in a land devastated by crimes of all kinds. But God, she adds, will take under his care the faithful servants and men of good will whom he exhorts to heroic fidelity:

I make a pressing call to Earth, I call the true disciples of the God who lives and reigns in Heaven, I call the true imitators of Christ made man, the only true savior of men. I call my children, my true devotees, those who have consecrated themselves to me so that I may lead them to my Divine Son, those who I carry, so to speak, in my arms, those who have lived from my spirit. Finally... I call the Apostles of the End Times. The faithful disciples of Jesus Christ who have lived in contempt for the world and for themselves, in poverty and humility, in prayer and mortification, in chastity and in union with God. In suffering, and unknown to the world.It is time for you to go out and come to illuminate the Earth: Go and show yourself as my dear children, I am with you and in you, as long as your faith is the light that illuminates you in those days of misfortune. ... Fight children of light, you small number... for the time of times, the end of ends, is here. The Church will be darkened, the world will be dismayed.

At the end of the world, God will send Enoch and Elijah

“The Church will be eclipsed, the world will be in dismay. But behold Enoch and Elijah, filled with the spirit of God; They will preach with the power of God, and men of good will will believe in God, and many souls will be comforted. They will perform great wonders by the virtue of the Holy Spirit, and they will condemn the diabolical errors of the antichrist. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth...! There will be bloody wars and famines, pestilences and contagious diseases; there will be rains of terrible hail... ... Storms that will destroy cities, earthquakes that will swallow countries; voices will be heard in the air; Men will beat their heads against the walls, they will call for death. ...Blood will flow everywhere. Who can resist if God does not reduce the time of trial? Through the blood, tears and prayers of the righteous, God will allow himself to be appeased. Enoch and Elijah will be killed. Pagan Rome will disappear, fire will fall from the sky and consume three cities; The entire universe will be gripped by terror, and many will allow themselves to be seduced by not having worshiped the true Christ, who lived among them. The time has come. The sun darkens, only Faith will live.

“The time has come. The abyss opens. Behold the king of the kings of darkness. Here is the beast with his subjects, calling himself the savior of the world. He will proudly rise into the air to ascend to Heaven. He will be suffocated by the breath of Saint Michael the Archangel. He will fall. And the Earth, which will take three days in continuous evolution, will open its womb full of fire. He (the antichrist) will be sunk forever, with all his people, into the eternal abysses of hell. Then water and fire will purify and consume all the works of men's pride and everything will be renewed. God will be served and glorified.”

Our Lady ascends to Heaven

After those words, Our Lady added: “My children, you will communicate this to all my people.” And she walked to a nearby elevation. Her feet barely touched the grass, without bending it. Reaching the top, she stopped looking with tender kindness at the seers. She then began to rise imperceptibly to a height of one meter.

He stayed just a moment, long enough to look at the sky, the earth, to his right and to his left. After her, his eyes rested “so sweet, so kind and so good that I judged that they would attract me to the inside of her, and it seemed that my heart was opening to hers,” Mélanie narrated. The light that surrounded her became more intense, as if enveloping Our Lady and little by little she disappeared. The light rose gently towards her right, until it disappeared from the vision of the Virgin's beloved children.

COLOPHON

The events referred to in the secret of La Salette do not seem to be dictated in successive order, we cannot understand them chronologically. Sometimes what was said before is repeated. ("Cyclic style", characteristic of the Apocalypse of Saint John.) It speaks of the definitive triumph of the Church, after the Judgment of the Nations or purification of humanity, in which everything will be renewed and there will then be one flock and one shepherd. It also speaks of the birth and action of the antichrist. To refer to the antichrist is to reach the maximum degree of universal apostasy. It also refers to the two witnesses, who will condemn the errors of the antichrist and exhort the world to do penance. Witnesses who at the same time In the end they will be defeated and killed (Apoc. cap. XI.) Some prophecies have already been fulfilled:

A.-That the Pope did not leave Rome after 1859, the year after which, after Austria had been defeated, they wanted the Pope to leave Rome to achieve Italian unity.

B.-Napoleon's prophecy was also fulfilled to the letter: he fell "on the very sword which he wanted to use to force the people to praise him"; that was Prussia, he used it to weaken Austria, the Catholic power. etc

The central point of La Salette's message is that:

1.- "A series of punishments and catastrophes will come...", Due to or product of the sins of men.

2.- "Many priests will deviate from sound doctrine." A sad reality today, for which we are very guilty for not having prayed enough for them. And now satan has reaped the intelligence of many consecrated souls.)

3.- "Many religious houses will depart from the true faith." We live in an unprecedented doctrinal confusion. Our Lady refers to the antichrist, and that Rome will lose the faith and become its headquarters. (Statements that do not clash with what is revealed in the Holy Scripture.) God will allow Satan to tempt men and the world and it will lead to chaos, disorder and despair. And by an act of his justice and mercy he will order the purification and renewal of the world, and of his Church, and life on Earth will continue with those just and praying men who knew how to be vigilant to the Marian messages and the Christian spirit, and then it will come. -as prophesied-, the reign of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

The Blessed Virgin clarifies the Last Times in La Salette, and makes a call to the true imitators of her Son, the "Apostles of the Last Times", who will help the definitive triumph of Jesus Christ, with Peace and reconciliation of God with men, when the Holy Church will be pious, strong, humble and imitator of the virtues of Jesus Christ. According to the thesis that we are in the END TIMES, the "End of Times", (not the end of the world), and that a purification will lead to the conversion of the Jews and the world, the fundamental of the Secret of La Salette, referring to the current era, is” THE GREAT APOSTASY" "The smoke of hell has infiltrated the Church."

With a special responsibility of the clergy. A frightful crisis of the Church, religious persecution, and apocalyptic punishments; punishments also announced at Fatima, and in other apparitions: "Several nations will be annihilated..."
