Fatima and the vision of hell

 

At Fatima, Our Lady reminded men of her last days:

Heaven: "I am from Heaven (...) You go to Heaven and Jacinta and Francisco too. When you pray the Rosary, you will say after each mystery: ¡Oh Jesus (...) take all souls to Heaven!

Purgatory: "Amelia will be in purgatory until the end of the world."

Hell: the Blessed Virgin, with a grave face, asked the little shepherds five times for prayers and sacrifices for the conversion of sinners: "After each mystery, you will say: O Jesus, ¡(...) deliver us from the fire of el! ' Furthermore, for the first time in the history of her apparitions, Our Lady SHOWED HELL TO THE THREE CHILDREN.

This vision is for our time is a great grace; for in the spirit of ”modern man"  the idea of ​​being able to be condemned to eternal fire has progressively disappeared. He even scoffs at it. And what was the main instrument of this terrible anesthesia? The silence of the preachers.

How many shout: "FIRE!", "ETERNAL FIRE!"? Saint Alphonsus, a doctor of the Church, said that he would consider himself guilty of a mortal sin if he had not preached on hell at least once a year. Let us add, as an "instrument", the generation of those who did not transmit to their children the convictions they had received at the same age.

"What the little shepherds saw ..." Thousands of souls will rise on the day of the final judgment: "You, who knew, why didn't you tell us? Why did you reassure us? You, who knew what state we were in, Why didn't they worry about our conversion? Why didn't they at least pray for us? The best of Mothers has warned her children.

In fact, the evocation of this vision of hell has already produced salutary effects on souls many times, especially with the support of prayer and penance. It still produces and will continue to produce these effects.

The Blessed Virgin came expressly and used this means to prevent her other children from falling into the eternal abyss of fire and despair.

There are people who wonder that Our Lady has revealed such a horrible and disgusting sight to some children. ¡In general, not to say almost always, ¡these people needed to hear this story to begin to understand later that they themselves had to be converted!

And then they understand the pedagogy of Our Lady, example of mothers: The souls of the little shepherds were not traumatized, "stressed", but filled with a supernatural lucidity, fervor in prayer and apostolic charity for the conversion of the poor. sinners.

In the following month, on August 19, Our Lady pronounced a small then "that should make us think:  " Pray, pray a lot, and make sacrifices for sinners, BECAUSE many souls go to hell FOR NOT HAVING WHO IS SACRIFIED AND PRAY FOR THEM. "  There is a cause-and-effect relationship between a Christian's zeal and the salvation of another soul, or between a Christian's lack of generosity and the condemnation of this soul.

"They were not so disturbed by the horror of the vision as the sadness of Mary and the fate of those condemned to hell."

A disease with repulsive sores provokes in the good doctor, not an invincible disgust, but the desire to do everything to cure it.

In the same way, these holy children will do everything possible to save souls in danger of being damned.

1) Let us ask our Lord God for the grace of repentance. Let us humble ourselves in his presence.

2) Imagine that you are alone with the Blessed Virgin Mary, she extends her hands and you see a hole in the ground, full of fire, angelic demons and human demons. You hear their heartbreaking screams and the smell of rotten and burned meat decomposes you.

3) Consider that it is very true that you are between heaven and hell, and that the choice made of one or the other will last forever….

Story:

A Vision of Hell

On Friday, July 13, 1917, Our Lady appeared at Fatima and spoke to the three little seers. Our Lady never smiled. How could he smile, if on that day he was going to give the children a vision of Hell? She said:  "Pray, pray a lot because many souls are going to Hell."

Our Lady spread her hands and suddenly the children saw a hole in the ground. That hole, Lucia said, was like a sea of ​​fire in which souls in human form, men and women, were seen, wasting away in the fire, screaming and crying inconsolably. Lucia said that demons looked horrible like unknown animals. The children were so horrified that Lucia screamed. She was so scared that she thought she would die.

Mary said to the children: "You have seen Hell where sinners go when they do not repent."

"As he said these words, he opened his hands again as in the two previous months. The reflection (of light that they radiated) seemed to penetrate the earth and we saw a like sea of ​​fire and, submerged in that fire, the demons and the souls as if they were transparent and black or tanned embers, in human form, that fluctuated - in the fire carried by the flames that came out of themselves together with clouds of smoke, falling to all sides - similar to the fall of crayfish in the great fires - but without weight or balance, between screams and lamentations of pain and despair that horrified and made one shudder with dread. The demons were distinguished by horrible and disgusting forms of frightening and unknown animals, but transparent as black embers "

Our Lady of Fatima said to the Little Shepherds:

- Sacrifice yourselves for sinners and say many times, and especially when you make a sacrifice: - ¡Oh, Jesus, it is for your love, ¡for the conversion of sinners and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

–You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them God wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If you do what I tell you, many souls will be saved and they will have peace. The war will end, but if they do not stop offending God in the reign of Pius XI, a worse one will begin. When you see a night illuminated by an unknown light, know that it is the great sign that God gives you that he is going to punish the world for its crimes through war, hunger, persecution of the Church and the Holy Father.  To prevent this, I will come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the restorative communion of the first Saturdays. If they heed my wishes, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, it will spread its errors throughout the world, promoting wars and persecutions of the Church: the good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have to suffer a lot; various nations will be annihilated.

At last, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, which will be converted, and some time of peace will be granted to the world. In Portugal the dogma of the faith will always be preserved, etc. (Here begins the third part of the secret, written by Lucia between December 22, 1943 and January 9, 1944.) "The contemplation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the vision of hell were the causes of the sanctification of Jacinta. She often said: ¡Oh hell Oh hell! What a pity I have for the souls who go to hell And people that, being there alive, they burn like wood on fire! ¡So many people going to hell! ¡So many people in hell! " And the little shepherd warned the parents: "¡Do not let your children commit sins, they can go to hell”!

If they were older people: "Tell them not to do that, they offend Our Lord God, and then they can condemn themselves"!

¡O Most Merciful Jesus! you are my hope. I would despair of the forgiveness of my faults and of achieving my eternal salvation if I did not look to you as a source of grace and mercy, through which God shed all his Blood to wash my soul of as many sins as he has committed.

I love you, Lord, and I want to love you always. Give me the perseverance that without which I will not be able to remain without falling again. Oh Mary, loving Mother, guide me to God, and make me completely his before I die!
